Extract of Mami Wata stories on Eternal Life and Eternal Death:
"And Death is a law of Nature
for what has been given Life is subjected to Death
for a safe transition and a peaceful rest
for eternal Life is a cycle of eternal Death...
Romantic Nature:
"...But the oak trees have my heart" Eternal Life said to Eternal Death
"You say that about all of Nature" Eternal Death replied back
"Yes, well you'll find peices of my heart in all aspects of Nature" Said Eternal Life
and Death smiled and asked "And what of me and my Nature? do I have a peice of your heart too?"
and Eternal Life thought to Eternal Death "oh my whole heart belongs to you"..."
“ The sorceress Queen: The snake charmer…
And there was a king who had a wife
And he wore her charms for most of his life
For even though power and magic he wills
To her light his darkness it yields
As he was safe in the embrace of her charms
The magic and power that kept him from harm
But one day the king was seduced
By a melody played on a flute
For the queen did not think to create a charm
That would keep the king from such harm
So by lust he was driven
By the flutes seductive rhythm
And by the melody the king was teased
As it told him a story that he had been deceived!
For the charms he wore were a chain
So by the queens side he was forced to remain
And hypnotised by this rhythm
He tore off the charms in which he had been given
Now realising that this was a grave mistake
As his enemies now laid in his wake
And separated from the charms of his wife
Oh weakened king he had lost his life
And so to Death the king he goes
And from his life Death de-composed
Playing to the king his rhythm
Of the life in which he had been given
And so Death told the king that he was the price to pay
For allowing lust to lead him astray
But still a king he was in life and as a king he did die
So to this position he was tied
Oh but you see
The queen had the power to resurrect he
But having been lead astray by lust
In his resurrection the king did not trust
And so a melody he did sing
Of how unworthy felt the king…
…And Death cried to Life you see
And this is how mourning came to be
For he cried to Life but Life did not hear
So to Death Life did not appear
So there Death stood empty without his purpose
Filled up with feelings of unworthyness
For eternal Life does not need Death
And in his unworthyness he laid to rest
So restless was Death in his land
Without Lifes foundation for him to stand
For what is the Death of Death?...The withdrawral of Life is the death of Death
So there in the soils Death decomposed
And from his compost grew a Rose
For truly Death is transition you see
And this is how preservation of the body came to be
And so the Rose said His name
And resurrected from the soils Death he came
Renewed stood Death with his new purpose
Filled up with the feelings of worthiness
For in his Death he had found
That the Life of Death was divinely sound
For when he died She felt it you see
And truly this is how his rise came to be
For from the heavens her cries rained down
Mourning Death with her cries mighty sound
And down into the soils went her cries
For it was her watas that gave Death his rise
For wata has memory you see
And memories of his name she whispered to he…
And Death cannot climb
But the watas raised his name to the heavens up high
Heavens cry:
And I cried out to the highest order as I said to he
“It was you who created Death, it was YOU how Death came to be!
So you cannot deny your creation Love, you cannot deny to them a soul
And Death he has done what you have created him to do, he has played his role!”
And so the most high he did agree
As he said to me
“Then I give to him my highest Love, the rain that falls from the heavens above
And to Death I give a soul
For all souls shall be his
For he must bring them to judgment so that they can re-turn to me
Wholefully and in peace
Just as you did for his name, just as you did for he”
…And the soul does not know of Death you see,
But even Death wants to be loved soulfully
So I give my Love to Death
For my soul he does possess…
…And so Death cannot climb
But in his transformation he rised
And was placed as the serpent of victory
By the good Gods side
For death IS transformation you see
And so changed the formation of he.
Preservation of Love: and Death is my love
So our Love, he preserved it for us…
And once again in Life Death found me you see
And I belonged to the highest order of the heavens, Eternal Life, so he could not take me
So along side me Death did walk
And eternally we did talk
Re-membering the Life in which we shared
And there at the crossroad a gift to me be bared
“Welcome to your kingdom” Death said to me
For he gifted me a grave yard you see
“You gave to me Life, so Death I give to you
Take care of my dead
And they’ll take care of you”
So Eternal Life and Eternal Death together in love they reigned
And preservation of their Love the dead they gained…
Queen of the dead: Mother of eternity;
And I Am divine mummy
For I preserve wisdom you see
Mummy is what the dead call to me…”
NecromanSEA
Here at mami wata creations The House Of Serpents mami watas law of necromanSEA is not only a law that the house is built upon but is a system in which we function within. We understand that Life and Death are so intimately intertwined that they truly put the romance in necromancy! This is the serpents law of Death, re-birth, and resurrection - the transitioning into one life/state into another, the mummification (preservation) of knowledge [on self] wisdom, and understanding, and the deep understanding that Death work is fertility work;
For it is the dead, rotting leaves that have fallen in grace onto the grounds that fertilise the soils. It is the ashes of the burnt old, dead crops that prepares the soils to birth a new harvest, it is the destroying of old eggs within the womb each month of a woman's period which gives way for the potential of new life. And ultimately, it is our own death in which brings us into transition to higher states of consciousness, realities, and existence.
Life and Death are two serpents that are intertwined; showing just how interment their relationship is; for truly they are one in the same, a reflection and principle of each other.
The same rite of passage that are preformed at funerals are the same rites of passage that are preformed in life when one wants to enter into a higher state of consciousness. Just like the serpent, death is but a shedding of skin, unravelling the thin veil that separates Life from Death so that we can step into our new state - our new 'skin' These rites of passages are normally stories (memories) that are said about the deceased so that their spirit can remember who they are; you see, when one is born into life from the womb the transition causes memory lost and so for a lot of us we do not remember where we had come from before being born into this existence - and just as in life, so too in death. When one dies and their spirit projects out of their body, like a child coming out of the womb, ones spirit goes through a period of memory lost - and without funeral rites spirits can easily become wondering or wayward - lost in a forgetful state, unable to continue on with their journey; and so at memorials and funerals are stories and prayers said to help elevate the spirit and bring their memory back (their state of consciousness).
In life we pray, meditate, and tell stories of our ancestors (our past lives) and we also reflect on the experiences in which have shaped us in this life - telling to ourselves our own stories and conjuring our own memory - and when we sit with these memories, it reveals to us as the veil unravels the wisdom of the experience and the divine reasoning some experiences have happened to us, for they are the happening of us. When done correctly, like funeral rites of passage, the conjuring of memories, from our own to our ancestors, have the ability to resurrect, to conjure, our very souls (higher selves) so that we re-member all the parts of ourselves, and can move forward with our divine purpose and mission at the forefront of our minds and hearts.
